I have the answer!

My Mum came round this afternoon and helped me decifer the simplicity pattern - I know how to finish those sleeve/arm holes now! Hurrah! So this evening, assisted by wine and cheese, I shall finish it, and then take a photo and post it!

And then tomorrows mission will be looking for a nice chunky waist cinching belt from the charity shops to wear with it - and maybe some black leggys too. Then I can were it with my ox blood red boots!

  1. I'll look forward to your photo!
Just on your rant: I work in a team of 8 people, we each have about 70 cases assigned to us, on each case there is approximately 10 - 15 people (that's a lot of people to deal with). I most love it when I answer a colleague's phone (I always say my name) and the person says, "Hi, it's Mary, you sent me a letter." First of all - no I didn't, it was my colleague. Secondly - I don't know anything about my colleagues' cases so don't talk to me as if I do. And thirdly - as a team we send out about 200 letters a day, so I'll need a bit more information than 'my name is Mary'. Grrr. Some people seem to think that between eight of us we send out one letter a week, and then we all sit there waiting for that one person to call in. x x x
